God's Provision

Reminder - May 14 and 15

When we're desperate for money, we will do anything! Sooooo....we're having another Yard Sale to help offset adoption costs on May 14-15th. Here's the scoop:SAVE YOUR STUFF!

Another yard sale is planned for May 14-15th to help us with adoption costs. If you have anything you would like to donate, please let me know! This sale is being hosted by our precious friends, the VonHagens and will be located at 12339 Butternut Circle in Farragut. We still have a VERY long way to go, so any help is appreciated! Thanks friends - you have been a HUGE blessing! If you would be able to help with the sale in any way, please let us know!

To share, God has provided over $5,300 toward this adoption through generous gifts, day camps, yard sales, etc... However, we still have about 4 times this amount ($20,000) to raise if our whole family will travel to Ghana. This is our prayer, but even for Reid and I to make the required travel, we will need another $15,000. It seems like a lot, doesn't it? But it's for a life. For a child or children. It's for Jesus. Therefore, God continues to provide in miraculous ways for the life of this child(ren). Ways beyond measure. Ways beyond man. Ways indescribable!

God has transformed our family into a "fund-raising family" and for that I can not be ashamed. We are working together and the bonding within our family has been beautiful!

As I look at the list of over 200 names, I am amazed that even strangers would help us in differing ways to bring this child home! Seriously, strangers have donated to the upcoming yard sale just because a sweet friend, Emile, told them about it! The Lord is slowly and steadily providing, and we have had the honor and privilege of seeing it happen. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of bringing this child home. Words are inadequate to express our thanks.

We still need prayer - Boy or Girl, Boys or Girls, Boy and Girl, One or Two??? Help us discern God's will for our family. You can comment on this post if you think God is telling you something for us to hear?!? Please help by praying!

The words of Joseph have become a prayer for our child(ren?) -
"You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. So then, don't be afraid. I will provide for you and your children." And he reassured them and spoke kindly to them." Gen. 50:20-21

"The Lord favors those who fear Him, Those who WAIT for His lovingkindness." Psalm 147:11
