Under the Trees

We have spent several Sundays worshipping under the trees in an idol worshipping community near us.     Our friend, Kristin, who was with us last Sunday at the service found time to write a post about this worship experience.  I hope you are as blessed by her writing as we are.

Simple Love Today

On a side note, Reid met with the pastor this week, and we will again this weekend.  We will keep you posted on how things progress in this community.  We are hoping to help meet some of the needs here, but desire to do it through this church.  The men leading this church are truly missionaries within their own country.  Their sacrifice is great to willingly choose to minister here.  Please pray for this area,  There are festivals happening currently in honor of their idols - things that are celebrated would turn your stomach.  Your prayers are needed.

The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands nor give up worshiping demons and idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk, nor did they repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.
